Tsunami Information

Tsunami Information. Ok, I am back to work and will try to keep this blog current again. The disaster in Asia is big news with my students. Several of the teachers here are using this as a teaching moment about the people of Asia. Here are some good Web resources I have been refering my student towards:

Tsunami - This is a general tsunami resource page with links all over the Web from the University of Washington.

2004 Indian Ocean earthquake - This is the Wikipedia article on the event.

Tsunami Relief - This is a good Google page showing good organizations which are collecting to help the suffering in Asia.

History of Asia - Offers a history of every nation in Asia including many that were hit by the tsunami. This has good background information for learning about India or Sri Lanka for example.
